The Visitor Centre is located north of the town, 3.5kms from the Post Office at 80 Head Street, Alice Springs.
By Car: From the town centre travel north along the Stuart Highway. Turn left onto Head Street – you’ll find the Visitor Centre 1km along on the right hand side next door to the Braitling Primary School.
By Local Bus : From the bus terminal opposite the Post Office take the north-bound bus and hop off at the Visitor Centre. The bus stops right at our front door. Bus ticket costs $2.00 for a 2-hour ticket. Check with your accommodation reception or the tourist information centre for timetable information.
By Bicycle or walk : Alice Springs has walking paths & bike tracks alongside the Stuart Highway – follow the same directions as for travelling by car. Alternatively check with your accommodation reception or the tourist information centre about bicycle & walking paths from town to the Telegraph Station (also north of the town) and across to the School of the Air. Bike Hire is available from Alice Springs Bike Hire.
