Telephones are considered part of the school’s communication and support system to tutors and students. Students are encouraged to call their teachers when they need help. Phone logs are kept by teachers as a way of documenting assistance to students. Telephone private lesson times (PLTs) are conducted for students in Transition to Year 7 where there is access to a phone. All staff have a direct telephone line.
