Narwietooma Station

Narwietooma is a cattle station 160 kms north west from Alice Springs and is 3000 sq kms in size.

The first lease on Narwietooma was taken up in 1942 by E.J. Connellan with F. OÕKeefe. At the time, Connellan had a station in Victoria, "Narwie" and OÕKeefe had a station "Tooma", and thatÕs how the name Narwietooma came about.

E.J.Connellan acquired F. OÕKeefeÕs half share in 1946 and Narwietooma is still owned by the Connellan Family.

Narwietooma is currently managed by Doug Sims and his wife Sally with their two children, Nathan and Melissa, who are students at ASSOA.
