Neutral Junction Station Neutral Junstion Station is a cattle property covering 4783 square kilometres and is situated 290 kms north of Alice Springs. John McDouall Stuart and party explorers passed through the area in the 1850Õs to 1880Õs. In the years 1876 Ð 77 the "Barrow Creek Pastoral Company" first settled the area as a working cattle property. The Neutral Junction Pastoral lease had five different owners as well as a period of abandonment before Bill and Elsa Petrick and their five children, as partners bought the lease in 1960. Neutral Junction Station continues today under the ownership of Joe and Eleanor Mengel, Wally and Carolyn Klein and their children Jacob, Brodie and Joella Klein. |
