The Visitor Centre is currently open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. We will return to weekend trading as soon as visitor numbers increase post COVID.. Our friendly and informative team will take you on a guided presentation of 'the largest classroom in the world'. Hear our story, see original radios, observe our classrooms, and learn about the interactive educational experience for which the Alice Springs School of the Air is world-renowned.

Travel & Tour Company FAQs

Our FOC policy is admission of one tour leader/teacher per group. For school groups the teacher to student ratio is 1:10 (or part thereof). Additional teachers will be admitted at the student rate. Coach drivers and tour cooks are admitted FOC. Additional FOC admissions may be applied for by written request to the Visitor Centre Manager.
